We transformed the Sequoia Ballroom in Disney Grand California Hotel into a Blue Bayou dream for an external client gala. Giant ceiling height trees, real fountains, and many other scenic elements were brought in to change the space into a lush, living environment for dinner, a swing band, and casino night.

I love putting vignettes in a large room - these small moments really work together to theme out a room and fill the story. I typically work with prop houses and plants to get the right look.
details matter
I always love adding small details to add depth to ambiance. We hung led lights to trees all around the room to bring a bit of bayou magic and emulate a firefly glow. The fountains were rented and filled with water onsite… complete with a plastic tarp and dressed with plants to ensure the hotel carpet was not damaged! Although the look of the fountains would’ve been enough, the sound of water trickling filled in the sensory experience of the room.
